So I lurk a lot on this account and I’m really discouraged to see certain parts of the fandoms I’m in participating in ai generation.
Guys maybe instead of generating ai fanart you could oh idk… pay people to draw fanart?
I understand it’s relatively easy to do but the entire point of ai is to make people like me obsolete so it’s really discouraging to go into fan communities and see ai generated art. ai is taking a viscerally human experience (drawing and writing fanworks) and rips it out for streamlined quickness and does so by theft.
Please do research for like, a minute.
